INGREDIENTS serves 2
½ cup Finely Shredded Cheese
1 large Pasture Raised Egg
INSTRUCTIONS
Prep Time 5 min Cook Time 10 min
Preheat your mini waffle maker until hot.
Combine egg & cheese together in a small bowl, stir till combined.
Pour half the batter into waffle maker. Cook until browned and crispy, about 3-5 min.
For best results, allow to cool on a cooling rack.

Three things to keep in mind to alter the recipe to your unique needs:
If you’re avoiding dairy, omit the cheese and add an extra egg or sub with crushed pork rinds instead.
Don’t have a mini waffle maker? You can double the recipe for a regular sized waffle!
You can make a big batch & freeze for up to 3 months to savor your leftovers. (It heats up well in a toaster).
Additional add on’s
Add 2 tsp of Italian seasoning + 1/4 tsp garlic powder to make garlic bread or a pizza crust base.
For a savory flavor use cheddar cheese.
If you’re avoiding gluten and or grains, chaffles are a great substitute bread! Use them as a bun for burgers, morning bagel, avocado toast or sandwich.
